Ravensbourne College

Ravensbourne College - a university specialising in digital media, design and production - moved from Chistlehurst to a new purpose-built campus designed by Foreign Office Architects on the Greenwich Peninsula in September 2010. Its tiled façade is composed of 28,000 anodised aluminium tiles in three different shapes and colours and is perforated with round windows of varying sizes. The open plan space is designed to encourage collaboration and creative working. It won the prestigious RIBA award for most innovative Higher education building in London in 2011.

Greenwich Yacht Club

Frankl & Luty was appointed by English Partnerships in 1998 to create a new £3.5 million club that was included the competition brief for the Greenwich Millennium Village project. Greenwich Yacht Club, which has a long history dating back to 1908, took possession of its new facilities in November 1999. The Clubhouse and Pontoon are sited 45 metres offshore and make use of an existing piled jetty to support the steel frame structure and exposed steel with timber stud infill. Today the club has more than 400 members.
